Julie Schwarz Simons is a nine-time Emmy Award-winning producer with 20 years of experience creating critically acclaimed documentary series, feature stories, corporate branded content, and live television productions. She is committed to telling powerful stories that leave a lasting impact. Julie collaborates with clients ranging from television networks/streaming platforms to large corporations to small production houses and brings her strong work ethic, dedication and expertise to all her projects. 

Julie’s recent focus has been on numerous sports documentary series, including serving as the Supervising Producer for Netflix’s Full Swing – a series that takes an in-depth look into the professional world of golf. She also has been a story/post producer for various other sports series including For the Win (Amazon Prime), Full Speed (Netflix), Sue’s Places and P.K.’s Places (ESPN+) and 100 Days to Indy (Paramount+). Julie has also produced multiple stories for NBC’s Emmy and Telly Award-winning ad campaign What Would You Fight For? as well as Super Bowl feature stories for NFL Network.  

Before starting Good Juju Media in 2019, Julie spent more than a decade at NBC Sports and Olympics where she was the lead edit producer on Sunday Night Football and Thursday Night Football.  While at NBC, she also coordinated and produced feature stories and profiles for seven Olympic games, eight Triple Crown horseracing seasons and multiple other properties.  She was the creator and a producer of the long-form documentary series Download, which covered soccer stories around the English Premier League. 

Prior to her work at NBC, Julie worked for Bravo’s Emmy Award-winning series Inside the Actors Studio with host James LiptonShe has a master’s degree from Columbia Journalism School and received her BA in Child Development and Communications from Tufts University.
